The executive director of InvestBulgaria Agency, Stamen Yanev, has signed an agreement to join the World Free Zones Organization. The WFZO has been founded in Dubai, UAE in May, 2014 under the auspices of His Majesty Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice president and Prime Minister of the UAE. The concept of free zones in its many forms, has gained popularity throughout the last decades especially in the newly formed economies in Asia, Middle East and Africa. Free zones played an important role in the economies of many countries and in order to deliver a powerful impact, a multinational association is needed. Such association will be able to represent their interests, share their successes and support them in the long run in their successful development.
