Georgi Stoev is the Chairman of the Bulgarian-Korean Economic Council at the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce . Mr. Stoev has extensive experience in both the corporate and institutional sphere. Between 1991 and 2002, he was Regional Director of Plan Econ Inc.-USA for South East Europe, and then held various management positions at the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce. In 2007, he became Deputy Chairman of the Bureau of the Committee on Trade in the UN, and between 2009 and 2010, he was Deputy President of the Economic and Social Council at the Council of Ministers of Bulgaria. Mr. Stoev graduated in International Economic Relations at the University of National and World Economy in Sofia and in Japanese Studies at the State University of St. Petersburg, as well as having completed a number of specializations in Japan, the USA and the UK.
James Kang is Chief Secretary of the Bulgarian-Korean Chamber of Commerce in Sofia and senior adviser to the Bulgarian-Korean Economic Council of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce. Since 2012, Mr. Kang has been the director of the Korean Cultural Center. Between 1996 and 2012, he held the position of Senior Fellow and Chief Advisor to the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Sofia. Mr. Kang holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration from Kukmin University in Seoul, a Master's degree in Public Administration and a PhD in Political Science from Sveti Kliment Ohridski University in Sofia.
Valery Andreyev is theExecutive Director of the "Industrial Zones of 2010” national company. From 1993 to 2003, he worked in various positions in the administration of the Ruse Free Zone, and then became Deputy Mayor of Ruse, responsible for the “Economic Development and Municipal Property" direction. From 2005, he co-chaired the Board of the Ruse Chamber of Commerce, and from 2010 he became chief executive of the “Industrial Zones” national company. Valery Andreev graduated from the Angel Kanchev University of Ruse in 1989, specialising in Technology of Machine Tools and Manufacturing, and from University of National and World Economy in Sofia in International Economic Relations.
Hyunjoo Leeis CEO of Asia Invest – a company developing a large-scale project in the field of organic farming in Bulgaria. She is also a lecturer at the Korean Department of Sveti Kliment Ohridski University in Sofia. In the past, Ms. Lee was Head Professor at the College of Social Science at Myongji University in South Korea.
