  • Description

    The Kabile Industrial Park project is a public-private initiative and is supported by the Municipalities of Tundzha and Yambol.

    Infrastructure for the development of information technologies will be constructed and a Training and Assessment Center near the Kabile village will be built. The site will be also used as a base for development of historical tourism in the Roman town of Kabile, established at the end of the 2nd millennium BC.

    There is a national archeological park "Kabile", which determines the character of the area.

  • Competitive advantages

    • Excellent location – proximity to the Trakia motorway, the first-class roads Ruse–Elhovo–Edirne (Turkish Thrace) and Sliven-Yambol, and to the Sofia-Burgas railway;
    • Traditions in manufacturing – textiles, electronics, machine building, construction and food industry;
    • Qualified labor force - the industrial park is in close proximity to the Sliven branch (Faculty of Engineering and Pedagogy) of the Sofia Technical University (15 km), Trakia University - Stara Zagora (80 km), the Burgas “Prof. Assen Zlatarov” University and the Burgas Free University (85 km);
    • Support from the Tundzha Municipality and many business and technology oriented non-government organizations: Agency for Regional Development and Investment, the Yambol Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Euro Info Center and GIS-Transfer Center Foundation.
