Bulgaria's export to EU increased in January-May

In the period January - May 2015, the export of Bulgaria to the European Union (EU) increased by 12.2% compared to the same period of the previous year, reaching BGN 11,6 billion while the imports from the EU increased by 8% to BGN 13,3 billion, show the preliminary data of the National Statistical Institute (NSI).

Major trade partners of Bulgaria in the first five months of this year are Germany, Italy, Romania, Greece, Belgium and France and they form 70,1% of Bulgarian exports to the countries - EU members. At the same time the largest import of goods is registered with Germany, Italy, Romania, Spain and Greece.
