On April 8, 2016 in Veliko Tarnovo was held management conference of the Bulgarian Association for Freight Forwarding, Transport and Logistics
In the conference participated Ms. Madzhide Ahmedova, deputy executive director of InvestBulgaria Agency (IBA) and Mr. Theodoros Polydoros, Executive director of ICAP Bulgaria. Managers of leading companies - DHL Freight EOOD, DB Schenker EOOD, EUROSPED AD, Orbit EOOD, ALOG EOOD., DSV Air and Sea EOOD, Aviation Services OOD and others attended the event.
Madzhide Ahmedova urged managers of leading companies in the sector to turn to IBA for any questions related to their potential investment projects in the sector to be able to receive needed information and support. The focus of the conference was directed towards key issues affecting the sector. Ms. Ahmedova presented to the participants investment opportunities, incentives provided under the Invetment Promotion Act to certified investment projects and the low taxes in Bulgaria. There were also presented the advantages of a certificate of investment project class "A" and Class "B" in investment from 1 to 3 million BGN in the sector of Logistics. The role of the InvestBulgaria Agency to reduce administrative barriers to business, as well as measures and services to assist local and foreign investors at all stages of implementation of investment projects in the sector was discussed.
