Slovenian companies express great interest in doing business with Bulgaria. This was announced by State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia Ms. Darja Bavdaz Kuret at a meeting with the Minister of Economy Bozhidar Lukarski. She pointed out that the two countries have excellent political relations, but economic ties have declined during the economic crisis. In her words, before there was a significant presence of Slovenian companies in Bulgaria and now they want to return in addition to new companies interested in partnerships in our country.

Minister Lukarski said that it is necessary to deepen the economic cooperation between the two countries. He proposed resuming the work of the intergovernmental commission for economic cooperation and intensification of the activity of the Bulgarian-Slovenian Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria.
